‘The program and musicality were really stunning. Several of us were commenting on the way out that we figured most people on Earth who have heard music the way we did last night are probably royalty.’

One more performance with these powerhouse performers.

‘If you only knew how I suffer. . . . I just keep working so as not to hear anything. Yes I am working with the persistence and concentration of a madman. But suddenly the hypocrisy of this conduct overwhelms me and I begin to sob over my note paper.’

Written on the precipice of World War I, as Europe edged toward collapse, Ravel’s piano trio remains one of the masterpieces of the genre.

Unsentimental, refined, volatile and biting- the apex of our February Salon concerts paired with Debussy and - balm for the soul in these cold, dark days.

.....and let me sleep a while since you rest.

Debussy didn’t set Verlaine — he dissolved him into sound.

Ariettes oubliées (forgotten little songs) live where words stop explaining and start breathing: desire without declaration, melancholy without drama. Every harmony feels half-remembered, like an unfinished thought that won’t let go

Come hear tenor , master storyteller, perform them this February.

Tickets are extremely limited. Get yours now.

Grateful doesn’t quite cover it.

Our humble chamber series has come a long way, and this year has been especially meaningful for the Belvedere Series. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making it so wonderful. We’re looking ahead to an exciting 2026 and beyond.

What makes a concert unforgettable?

For us, it’s closeness—the kind you feel in our Salon Series, where musicians, listeners, and music share the same breath.

If you’re gifting an experience this year, make it one that stays with them.

“If you sign up, show up.”
Kenna lived this every day.

From the birth of this organization, she was my equal and my partner. We first met for a simple coffee in June 2021, when I casually asked if she’d help me start a chamber music series. She said ‘Sure, I’ll help you with that’ — neither of us knowing what was coming. That yes became the backbone of everything we built.

Her acumen as an accountant was not just helpful — it was essential to the exponential growth of our Series. She attended every, single concert as a volunteer, troubleshot every problem with integrity, and acted as a sounding board and mentor to me in ways I’ll never forget.

Every organization would be lucky to have a Kenna. We had the real thing. She was our biggest cheerleader, and we are so, so sad to say goodbye.

With gratitude,
Ingrid Keller, Artistic Director

‘We are allowed to place one foot before the other,
To know some valley or some slaty sea,
To hear with weary calm that being born to live, we must live to be.
There is small love lost in this strained hour,
Youth dropped down has only dreamt the flower.
The dance of death now cries out for the undivulged tomorrow.’ - Joan Murray (1917-1942)

We were struck by how visionary her poems seemed almost a century ago, and work so beautifully in the libretto and music Zachary Wadsworth has created for us.

Joan Vincent Murray, who died at just 24, never lived to see the lasting impact of her work on North American modernism. Her poems—written in what she called a “bewildered age”—speak with striking resonance to the confusion of our present moment.

The Belvedere Series has commissioned Zachary Wadsworth—one of the leading composers of his generation, especially in vocal, choral, and operatic music—to create a new song cycle for the inimitable tenor Daniel McGrew and piano trio. This program is specially curated to be framed by two masterworks: Claude Debussy’s delicious, evocative Ariettes oubliées and Maurice Ravel’s Piano Trio.

A very limited number of tickets remain. Visit the link in bio to secure yours now.
