It’s Invasive Species Week, and we’re heading out into the woods!

Join our naturalists Jen Adams and Garrett Chisholm this Saturday, June 13 at 9am at Saw Kill Trails for a guided walk focused on invasive plant identification. They’ll show you how to spot key species, explain how they spread and affect native vegetation, and share practical tips on when and how to address them for the best results.

You’ll leave with a clearer sense of where to focus your stewardship energy, and how to make more room for natives to thrive.

June is Pollinator Month! If you missed our recent webinar "From Forests to Meadows: Supporting Pollinators Across Your Land" you can watch it from the link in comments below, as well as access additional pollinator resources from our special guests:

--Kass Urban Mead, Pollinator Conservation Specialist and Forests and Forestry Lead at the Xerces Society &

--Lacey Smith, Northeast Regional Partner Biologist at Pollinator Partnership to explore what landowners can do to make a difference.

This year we went beyond the garden. Forests, forest edges, and open meadows are deeply interconnected, and together they form the foundation of healthy pollinator habitat. Check it out!
