Granted! 🎉 RHS students will have access to two new 3D printers, expanding opportunities for hands-on engineering, design, and prototyping. The additional printers will help students move from digital concepts to physical creations more efficiently, while increasing access to Innovation Hub resources for the broader school community. We can't wait to see the ideas, inventions, and creativity these new tools will help bring to life!

We’re off to a wild start this school year! Rhinebeck Science Foundation is proud to support BMS’s annual Madagascar Day, an immersive learning experience that brings the biodiversity, culture, and conservation challenges of Madagascar to life. From hands-on animal encounters and Malagasy food tastings to environmental education and collaborative art projects, students will spend the day exploring one of the world’s most fascinating ecosystems. 🌍🐾🦎

🍪 A sweet surprise for RSF! 🧁

We’re feeling especially grateful for the generosity and community spirit that make Rhinebeck such a special place. 💜💛

A local family gathered their friends and neighbors to hold a bake sale at Rhinebeck’s Porchfest, and generously donated 100% of their profits to the Rhinebeck Science Foundation!

This turned into $650 we can now invest in hands-on learning for Rhinebeck students.

We love seeing our community find creative ways to support curiosity, exploration, and the next generation of thinkers and innovators.

Thank you for baking, selling, and giving back! 🍪🔬⚙️

🍎✨ Welcome back, Rhinebeck!

Whether you're new to Rhinebeck or a familiar face, we'd love to introduce ourselves. The Rhinebeck Science Foundation (RSF) is a volunteer-led nonprofit that helps fund hands-on STEAM programs, field trips, workshops, and creative learning experiences across all three Rhinebeck schools. 🚀🔬🎨

Since 2007, RSF has awarded more than $1.28 million in grants, funded 100+ hands-on programs and workshops, supported 40+ field trips, and helped create 4 learning labs for Rhinebeck students. 📚💡

We'll be at the school open houses starting today. Stop by, say hello, learn about our impact, and find out how you can get involved. 👋

🚒 Community partners helping build a stronger Rhinebeck.

We’re happy to help spread the word about the Rhinebeck Fire Department’s Fireman’s Market! Stop by to learn lifesaving skills like CPR, bleeding control, and stroke recognition, tour the fire trucks and ambulance, and learn more about becoming a volunteer.

Hands-on learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom—it helps create stronger, safer communities.

🌲 Before heading out into the world, RHS seniors are taking time to connect with the natural beauty of the Catskills and Hudson Valley.

RSF is proud to support the Class of 2026’s overnight trip to Frost Valley, where students will explore ecology, sustainability, geology, art in nature, and outdoor skills through hands-on experiences and immersive learning.

The senior class intentionally chose a trip centered around the landscape and environment that have shaped so much of their experience growing up in the Hudson Valley—a meaningful opportunity to reflect, connect, and learn together before graduation.

This is exactly the kind of experiential learning RSF loves to support: curious, collaborative, and rooted in real-world exploration.

🎬 Lights, camera, innovation!

One of the highlights of this year’s STEAMpunk Gala was the incredible promotional video created by the BMS Film Club. These talented student filmmakers, along with the AMAZING , tell the story of RSF’s mission highlighting the hands-on learning experiences we support throughout the district.

Want to see more of what these students can do? Come to the BMS Film Festival on Thursday, June 11 from 6–8 PM, where student filmmakers will showcase their work on the big screen.

We’re so grateful for their creativity, hard work, and willingness to share their talents with our community. And for showing us that STEAM includes the arts, too. 🎥✨

STEAMpunk: Escape the Ordinary was an incredible evening filled with creativity, connection, and so much fun. From the costumes to the energy on the dance floor to the amazing support for our mission—it truly felt like something special.

We are so grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, and this entire community for showing up and helping us power hands-on learning in Rhinebeck schools. Because of you, we can continue funding the ideas that let students build, experiment, and explore.
