Our Prevention 101 students wrapped up the year with an incredible field trip to Sierra Nevada Journeyss! 🌲☀️

Prevention 101 is a partnership between Encompass Academy and JTNN (Join Together Northern Nevada) focused on drug and alcohol prevention, while also helping students build healthy coping skills, resilience, leadership, and positive decision-making skills. Through activities, discussions, and team-building experiences, students learn strategies to manage stress, build confidence, and make healthy choices for their futures.

During their trip, students challenged themselves on the ropes course, climbed high above the ground, built trust with their teammates, and practiced communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills along the way. From supporting each other through challenges to enjoying the fresh mountain air and beautiful mountain scenery, it was an unforgettable experience filled with growth, teamwork, and confidence-building. 💜🧗‍♀️🌲

🏐 $5 Free Dress Day Tomorrow! 🏐

Students may wear free dress tomorrow for a $5 donation, collected in the morning before school. All proceeds will go toward purchasing a new volleyball net for our athletics program!

Please remember that students must still follow all Encompass free dress guidelines.

Sophomores showed up with school spirit last week, so now they’ve earned a Free Dress Day! 💜

Sophomores may wear free dress on Thursday, May 7th. Freshmen, juniors, and seniors should report to school in uniform as usual.

Make your teachers a thank you card for educator appreciation week! Leadership students will be at lunch to help you create cards Monday - Wednesday this week!! All cards will be delivered on Thursday this week!

Spirit Day is coming up on Thursday, April 30th! 💜

Show your class pride by wearing your assigned grade-level color and help your grade earn a FREE dress day in May for the highest participation!

9th Grade – Purple
10th Grade – Black
11th Grade – Grey
12th Grade – White

Your shirt should be predominantly your assigned color. Students participating in Spirit Day may wear jeans. Students not participating should remain in regular school uniform.

🏐 Volleyball Open Gym starts in May at Encompass Academy!

Whether you’re brand new to volleyball or already have experience, this is a great chance to practice, meet teammates, and have fun in a welcoming environment. Open gyms are open to all skill levels and are a great way to stay active and get connected before the season begins.

This special event is exclusively for the Encompass Academy Class of 2026! Join us for Senior Sunset on May 14th at 7:00 PM at Newlands Park as we celebrate one last golden hour together before graduation season. Enjoy time with your classmates, take in the sunset, and make memories that will last long after senior year. Dessert bar provided by our Culinary Department!
