Meet River Bailey! One of the dedicated volunteers at NMTS.

River Bailey, 19, is a Northern Nevada native. She has been volunteering at NMTS since November 2025 and is working towards her Music Recording Technology Skills Certificate from Truckee Meadows Community College.

She expresses the joy that comes from volunteering at NMTS. "It's really cool to see how music can help people and I've always loved music and it's been a core part of me," Bailey said.
