Who’s doing this show?

Nevada Fine Arts
Call for artists!! We are having a 4 x 4 art show 🖼️

Every piece must be priced at $44 dollars and artists are limited to one piece on display. This is a cash and carry show and the artwork must be in framed. The deadline is February 4th and the opening will be February 7th. We accept art drop offs as well as mail in pieces once accepted!

Life cycle of a studio towel:
Starts as a kitchen or bathroom towel.
Suddenly it’s frayed or ripped but still functional.
Moved to studio.
Slowly starts to disintegrate.
Then one day *P**F*
Holes
Thread barren
And just smears stuff

But but but….

Beginning Sewing: Tie-dye Block Quilt.
This very basic sewing class will get you comfortable with your first hand made quilt.
You'll ice dye your own fabric, picking your own colors.
You'll learn how to:
-Sew using 1/4" seams
-Use a rotary cutter
-Bind your quilt
-Back using fleece
Ages 12+
Tuesdays: Oct 15, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19
5-8 pm
Cost: $200 Pre-paid reservations required.
Class is limited to 4 students.
Does not include supplies or sewing machine.
FINE PRINT:
-No sharing of projects. This is yours and yours alone.
-No cel phone usage while in class. I will charge you $1 each time I catch you on your phone unless you show me it's on airplane mode.
-You MUST have a working machine. I am more than happy to take your machine for a test drive and do a basic tune-up.
