Nevada Robotics is a computer science education outreach program that serves teachers and their PreK – 12th grade students. Nevada Robotics envisions an education system where all students have early and equal access to engaging and quality computer science instruction to build a foundation for their success in STEM classes, majors, and jobs.

This position is based in Reno and will support robotics and drone educator professional development, community outreach events, and competitions. Other tasks may be assigned as needed. Robotics Outreach Leaders (ROLs) will work some evenings and weekends. Hours and schedules vary by the week and are based on program needs. Candidates should be excellent communicators who are excited to learn new technical skills. No experience with computer science, robotics, or drones is necessary. Paid onboarding and training are provided. This position may be a good fit for retired teachers and those who want consistent but flexible hours. Total hours worked per week will typically average 15 but may be as high as 30 - 35 during travel weeks.
