Now I know the Lord Jesus Christ truly has real power.

Before I knew Jesus, my life felt very dark. There was no peace, no hope, and no way out. I worked wherever I could, trying to survive and care for my aging parents.

Then my sister, who is a Christian, began telling me about Jesus. I became curious and wanted to know more. She introduced me to a gospel worker, Sokh Mora, who began helping me understand the Bible.

Soon I started worshiping every Sabbath with the Koh Dach worship group. As I studied God’s Word in my home, my faith began to grow.

Then something happened that showed me the power of prayer. A very important land title for our family home was lost at the bank. I was so afraid. But I remembered Jesus and began praying urgently with my sisters.

After three days of prayer, the bank called. The lost title had been found. I was so grateful to Jesus. Through this experience, I came to believe more clearly that He hears sincere prayers and answers in wonderful ways.

Because gospel workers are reaching remote villages in Cambodia, people like me are studying the Bible, discovering hope, and choosing to follow Jesus. Now I have given my life to Him in baptism.

This Sabbath, step away from the chaos of this week, and take some time to connect with Jesus. Remind yourself He is our refuge, strength, peace, our Savior. Give Him your problems, and trust He is working all things out for your good. Whatever you’re carrying today, you don’t have to carry it alone.

May you find renewal in His presence today.

Two young girls were accused of being witches and blamed for the suffering in their home.

But when a gospel worker met their mother, he didn’t walk away.

For three months, he faithfully prayed with the family and pointed them to Jesus.
