🌳 We’re teeing off tomorrow!

The First Annual Tree Crü Golf Tournament kicks off tomorrow morning at Gold Hills Golf Club, and we couldn’t be more excited — or more grateful.

This event wouldn’t be possible without the amazing support of our sponsors, who stepped up to help us make a real impact here in Northern California. Their contributions go directly toward providing hazardous tree care for homeowners in need and supporting fire-mitigation work throughout our community.

A huge thank-you to our sponsors:
🏆 Apex Heating & Air, Anderson Family Fitness, RAW Restaurant, A-1 Tree Service & Stump Removal, George Petersen Insurance Agency hdi

Because of your generosity, we’re able to continue helping local families, clearing hazardous trees, and creating defensible space in neighborhoods that need it most.

See you bright and early tomorrow morning at Gold Hills Golf Club — check-in starts at 7:00 a.m., and tee-off is at 8:00 a.m.!

Together, we’re building a safer, stronger community — one tree at a time.

Your contribution funds:
🌿 Hazardous tree removals for homeowners in need.
🔥 Wildfire prevention and fire-break creation in neglected greenbelts.
🌱 Invasive plant removal and native replanting to restore balance to our local land.

This work is dangerous, it’s essential, and it’s done entirely by local hands — people who care deeply about the safety and resilience of this community.

If you’ve been thinking about sponsoring, donating, or even putting together a team, now’s the time. Every dollar goes directly toward keeping our neighborhoods safer and stronger.

Here in Shasta County, we’ve seen firsthand how quickly a storm or wildfire can change everything. Many of our neighborhoods are surrounded by overgrown greenbelts and aging trees that haven’t been maintained in decades — and for some homeowners, the cost of tree care just isn’t possible.

That’s why we started The Tree Crü Initiative — to step in where help is needed most.

Funds raised through our First Annual Tree Crü Golf Tournament will go directly toward:
🌳 Removing hazardous trees that threaten homes and families.
🔥 Creating fire breaks and defensible space in high-risk residential areas.
🌿 Clearing invasive plants and replanting native species to restore our local environment.

Every project we take on helps protect lives, property, and the land we all love.

Your support stays right here in Shasta County — improving the safety and resilience of our community one property at a time.

⛳️ Join us for a day on the course at Gold Hills Golf Club and help us make a real difference close to home.

Throughout Redding and Shasta County, many neighborhoods are surrounded by ‘landlocked’ greenbelts — large areas of dense vegetation with no single property owner responsible for maintenance.

Because of this, they often go unmanaged for years, becoming dangerous fuel during drought and fire season. These overgrown greenbelts put entire neighborhoods at risk, and homeowners are left without a clear solution.

Tree Crü is working to change that — with large-scale fire mitigation projects designed to reduce fuel loads and protect entire communities.

How do we protect families today and prepare our neighborhoods for wildfire tomorrow? 🌲 Our latest blog shares the journey, the impact, and the projects ahead.

📖 Read here:

The Tree Crü Initiative began with a simple goal: protect families from hazardous trees and reduce wildfire risk in our neighborhoods. Our first project showed the power of community support — and our vision is only growing from here.

🌲 Hazardous Tree Care in Action 🌲

One of our very first projects was helping a local homeowner facing two dangerous trees over her house. One had already dropped large branches and damaged the roof. With winter storms on the way and leaks already forming, she needed help fast.

Our team stepped in to mitigate the largest tree, cutting branches back from the house and safely removing another that posed a serious risk of falling during the wet season. But we didn’t stop there. With extra help from the crew at A-1 Tree Service, we were able to tarp her roof, giving her peace of mind that she could make it through the winter without worrying about more damage.

This is why The Tree Crü Initiative exists — to protect families, safeguard homes, and bring our community together to face the risks of hazardous trees and wildfire. With your support, we can continue to expand this work and tackle even bigger projects that protect entire neighborhoods.
