Veteran Voices Collective, a nonprofit based in Redding, California, is helping locate the family of Thomas Collins, a U.S. service member who served in Vietnam in 1969.

We are currently in possession of his Vietnam service medal, and our mission is simple and sacred:
➡️ Return this medal to his family.

While serving in Vietnam, Thomas experienced a mental health crisis related to combat trauma. During that time, he gave his medal to a fellow soldier named Nelden. That medal has been protected for decades — waiting for the right moment to be reunited with his loved ones.
