Racial Injustice - a call for deep listening
Friday, June 19

These times urge us to listen more, open deeper, and plumb our own consciences for the way forward. They also remind us that in Martin Luther King Jr.’s words, “injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” as we have seen the response to George Floyd go global. As a worldwide community, we have a lot of work to do.

Euphrates is unrelentingly committed to the inner, interpersonal, community, and global work to create a world where everyone thrives and lives freely. Euphrates' purpose is to inspire humanity to choose peace, and we understand peace does not happen without first listening.

Our call will begin with a grounding meditation by teacher, Rev. Paulette Pipe. Then venture capitalist and activist Stephen DeBerry will bring us deep into the questions and forward actions on the anti-racism work ahead for our global peacebuilding community.

RSVP to [email protected] so we can provide you with the Zoom meeting link!

But really, if you truly want to eliminate injustice and racism in our time, there is only one road to choose. Here is the reason why, from someone who knows the truth: “Hate has caused a lot of problems in the world, but it has not solved one yet.” -Maya Angelou. Choose your road rightly.
