🎓🚨 Graduated or Graduating Soon? Read This Before You Start Collecting Hours! 🚨🎓

Attention MFT Trainees and future Associates — understanding the 90-Day Rule is ESSENTIAL to protecting your hours and staying compliant with the BBS. 👀

💡 Here’s what you need to know:

⚠️ 90-Day Rule Limitations:
The 90-day rule ONLY applies to employment in exempt settings such as:
• Nonprofits
• Schools
• Government entities

✅ You must also complete a Live Scan before earning post-degree hours under this rule.

🚫 Important:
You CANNOT work in a private practice or professional corporation until you have your official associate registration number IN HAND from the BBS.

📝 What Do You Need To Do?
✔ Complete Live Scan fingerprinting for EACH employer before earning post-degree hours
✔ Keep a copy of every completed “Request for Live Scan Service” form in a safe place
✔ Submit copies of those forms with your Application for Licensure
❌ Do NOT submit them with your Associate application

Protect your hard-earned hours and avoid costly mistakes by knowing the regulations BEFORE you begin working. 💙
