We have 2 concessions stands tonight-between gates 2b-4a, section 20 and right outside the women’s bathroom (section 17-18) Please stop by to purchase beer, water, margaritas, peanuts and popcorn! Happy Father’s Day to the Hurricanes Sled Hockey dad crew! As you can imagine it takes a LOT to keep this crazy train on the tracks and we are grateful for all the dads that help! STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS PARADE was AMAZING! 🎉🎉🎉 So grateful to be invited to participate and interact with players, coaches, Alum, media & the extended hockey fam! So proud of the Carolina Hurricanes and our community for making today so special for so many! 20 years ago at the 2006 playoffs Tyler Jacoby told us he wanted to play hockey like those guys! And now we serve 50+ players of all ages & abilities! And bonus - we’re friends with some of “those guys”! 2026 has been such an amazing hockey season! CONGRATULATIONS to Kiera- our 2026 HF Tournament MVP! She was chosen for her great attitude, work ethic and attention to the coaching! Not to mention her reckless abandon when defending against fast kids that were 2-3 times her size. She is fearless! She plays defense amazingly and was a major factor in every game. This was her 1st tournament playing as a Hurricane and she blended right in on and off the ice!

This weekend was the 10th Annual hockey festival and it did not disappoint! We took 3 teams plus shared a few players with the Seattle Kraken and Nashville Jr Sled Preds so it was absolute chaos! Thankfully they have 8 sheets under 1 roof so we can run/roll around and cheer on everybody! Here’s some of the B roll with more pics and highlights to come. (HF always captures amazing on ice photos so I’ll share those ASAP!) There were so many amazing moments like 1st goals, hat tricks and impressive defense but sadly it was not meant to be. All of our Jrs ended up placing 2nd in their divisions. The Adult team faced some of the best competition in the world (literally) and although they battled hard, they did not win their division either. THANK YOU to for hosting! THANK YOU to our sponsors and donors for allowing us to have these experiences! THANK YOU to our coaches and volunteers for doing ALL the things! THANK YOU athletes and families for juggling work, school, life, etc so our teams can play!

hosted our first ever “Champions Night” on Friday at to honor our athletes, share how far we have come (who remembers the buckets??) and give a sneak peak into our future plans. THIS is why we do what we do! Thanks to everyone who gives their time, talent & treasure to change lives like Javi’s! It takes a village and ours is amazing! 🏒🏒❤️🥅💪
