CONGRATULATIONS to Kiera- our 2026 HF Tournament MVP! She was chosen for her great attitude, work ethic and attention to the coaching! Not to mention her reckless abandon when defending against fast kids that were 2-3 times her size. She is fearless! She plays defense amazingly and was a major factor in every game. This was her 1st tournament playing as a Hurricane and she blended right in on and off the ice!

This weekend was the 10th Annual hockey festival and it did not disappoint! We took 3 teams plus shared a few players with the Seattle Kraken and Nashville Jr Sled Preds so it was absolute chaos! Thankfully they have 8 sheets under 1 roof so we can run/roll around and cheer on everybody! Here’s some of the B roll with more pics and highlights to come. (HF always captures amazing on ice photos so I’ll share those ASAP!) There were so many amazing moments like 1st goals, hat tricks and impressive defense but sadly it was not meant to be. All of our Jrs ended up placing 2nd in their divisions. The Adult team faced some of the best competition in the world (literally) and although they battled hard, they did not win their division either. THANK YOU to for hosting! THANK YOU to our sponsors and donors for allowing us to have these experiences! THANK YOU to our coaches and volunteers for doing ALL the things! THANK YOU athletes and families for juggling work, school, life, etc so our teams can play!

Jr Canes lost 2-0 in our last game but it felt like a win. Everyone played a great game! We got better with each game all tournament. Ethan had a ton more saves. Everyone played their positions well and we learned a lot. MJ was PLAYER OF THE GAME! Olivia was MVP of the tourney! Lots of learning, growing and team bonding this weekend! PLAYERS OF TODAY’s GAMES are Amelia, Bryson and Lucas!!! 7am puck drop after a fun night in Fort Worth! We lost 3-1 but that score does not show how well they played! Olivia scored & Ethan made 136 saves (or that’s what it felt like! Including a highlight reel worthy glove save! Got a few hours break and then played again. Lost 3-1 but that score doesn’t do justice to their effort. We played a great, competitive game! This Jr team is improving every game and having fun exploring Texas! We’re playing the Avs tonight in the semifinals. Winner plays Columbus tomorrow for the Championship! Let’s goooo!!!
