We care about every step toward restoration. đź’™

Our mission is to come alongside men and women behind bars in those steps through biblical discipleship, helping them know Christ, grow in faith, and become disciples who make disciples.

That’s the kind of lasting transformation we hope to see take root behind prison walls and continue far beyond them.

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to step inside Rikers Island this week. Our team spent time with incarcerated men and women across multiple pods, sharing the Gospel and reminding them that they are not forgotten.

We’re leaving thankful for every conversation, every open heart, and every opportunity to point people to the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Your prayers fuel this work. Please continue praying for the men we met and for the seeds we planted to continue growing! 🙏

10/14/2026

Over the next two days, our team will have the opportunity to share the Gospel with men across four different pods at Riker’s Island to remind them that no place is beyond the reach of Christ.

We’re thankful for the doors God continues to open!

Please pray for our team, for our conversations, and most of all, for the men who will hear the Gospel. We are believing that God would meet them right where they are!

A meaningful day of ministry in Argentina. 🇦🇷

Our Country Leader, Pastor Victor, joined Pastor Marilu and his son at BahĂa Blanca Prison to teach the Prison Alliance course and deliver 12 Bibles made possible through local donations.

We’re especially encouraged to see local churches and supporters helping meet the needs of prison ministry in their own communities. That kind of partnership is what helps this work keep growing.

Please continue praying for the students at BahĂa Blanca Prison and for the leaders faithfully walking alongside them.

When people hear “prison ministry,” they often picture one thing: someone walking into a correctional facility to preach.

That's certainly part of it. But prison ministry can also look like mentoring a student from miles away, preparing resources in a warehouse, supporting a chaplain, praying faithfully, hosting a book drive, or helping provide the resources that make discipleship possible.

And it all leads towards the ultimate goal of discipleship.

If you’ve ever wondered whether there’s a place for you in this mission, there probably is! Learn more and get involved at prisonalliance.org/get-involved.

Castain Gusha’s story is a reminder that release from prison doesn’t have to be the end of the story. It can be the beginning of a new one.

During his three-year sentence, Castain became a Prison Alliance student and completed the Bible study and discipleship program. Through an incredibly difficult season for both him and his family, he continued growing in his faith and trusting God.

Now released, Castain has expressed a desire to serve alongside Prison Alliance, encourage others who are still incarcerated, and help share the hope he found in Christ. He has also opened the door for a new church to begin in his local community.

This is what we pray for: disciples who go on to make disciples.

Please pray for Castain and his family as they begin this new chapter and for the ways God may use his testimony to reach others.

We’re getting ready for a special night in Atlanta. 💙

Next week, friends, supporters, ministry partners, and leaders will gather to celebrate what God is doing through prison ministry and look ahead to the work still to come.

As we prepare, we’re especially grateful for the sponsors who help make this evening possible. Your supports goes beyond just one event. It helps strengthen the ministry, resources, and discipleship happening behind prison walls throughout the year.

Thank you for investing in this mission and standing with Prison Alliance. We can’t wait to gather with you soon!

As we celebrate 30 years of ministry, we are trusting God to raise $150,000 to send 30,000 large print NLT Bibles into prisons in 2026. These Bibles will rebuild chapel libraries, equip chaplains, and place God’s Word into waiting hands.

For three decades, we have watched Isaiah 55:11 come to life behind bars, and His Word has not returned empty!

Help us send 30,000 Bibles behind bars this year at prisonalliance.org/donate.

Still celebrating an incredible night. đź’™

On Tuesday, hundreds of friends gathered with us in Raleigh to celebrate 30 years of Prison Alliance and all that God has done through this ministry.

We shared stories of lives being transformed, celebrated the work happening in prisons around the world, and were reminded of the mission that has carried us for 30 years: making disciples behind bars.

A special thank you to Ben Fuller Music for sharing his music, his testimony, and his heart with us. It was an incredible way to celebrate this milestone.

And to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, and guest who made the night possible, thank you. We are so grateful to have you alongside us in this work.

We’re so close to reaching our $500,000 Gala goal! There is still time to help us cross the finish line and bring the hope of Jesus to even more men and women in prison.

30 years of God’s faithfulness. The mission continues.

And a special thank you to the incredible sponsors who helped make this night possible. We’re recognizing them in the comments below!
