🐾 **Meet Lona, AnimalKind’s new Operations Manager!**

We’re excited to welcome Lona Burbage to the team! A Licensed and Registered Veterinary Technician and Certified Veterinary Business Leader, she brings extensive experience in veterinary medicine and leadership.

Lona is passionate about making veterinary care compassionate, respectful, and less stressful for pets and their people—a philosophy that fits right in with the mission of the future AnimalKind Community Vet Clinic.

When she’s not caring for animals, she enjoys hiking and camping in the mountains and spoiling her two cats, Huck and Butta Bean. 🐱

Help us give Lona a warm welcome! 💚

🌎🐾 **This World Rabies Day, your support can help save lives.**

Rabies is preventable, but it still takes the lives of at least 59,000 people worldwide every year. Vaccinating pets is one of the most important ways we can protect both animals and people.

At AnimalKind Community Vet Clinic, your support will help make low-cost rabies vaccinations possible for families who need them most. 💙

Together, we can keep more pets healthy, families safe, and our community protected.

**Give today. Protect tomorrow.**

🐾 **Meet Dr. Sarah McCain - our new Medical Director!** 🐾

Veterinary medicine has been part of Sarah’s life since she was five years old. The daughter of a veterinarian, she always knew she wanted to follow in her father’s footsteps—and now she’s bringing that lifelong passion to AnimalKind as our new Medical Director! ❤️

A Raleigh resident for the past 11 years, Sarah brings experience in general practice, emergency medicine, shelter medicine, nonprofit veterinary care, and high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter. Surgery is her passion, but helping animals and the people who love them is what matters most to her.

And she’s a true animal lover at home, too! Her family has included dogs, cats, sheep, a goat, chickens, a rabbit, and even Chinese Water Dragons. These days, she shares her home with her two adult children, their cats, and a new puppy named Wayne. 🐶

**We’re thrilled to welcome Sarah to the AnimalKind family and can’t wait for you to meet her!** 🐾❤️
