A Cure In Sight is a for patient, by patient, focused nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals affected by ocular melanoma, the most common primary eye cancer in adults. We provide education, advocacy, and compassionate guidance to patients, caregivers, and medical professionals while working to advance research for more effective treatments and, ultimately, a cure. Through community outreach

, peer support programs, and collaborations with leading researchers and clinicians, A Cure In Sight empowers patients with the resources they need to navigate diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship. Our mission is to ensure that no one faces ocular melanoma alone and to improve quality of life for those living with this rare disease. Together, we’re bringing hope into focus and turning sight into strength for every patient.

We're excited to announce that A Cure In Sight is planning to return to Washington, DC for Rare Disease Week 2027!

Following the success of last year's patient-focused program, we're looking forward to bringing our community together once again for meaningful conversations, educational discussions, and opportunities to connect with fellow patients, caregivers, researchers, physicians, and industry partners.

Whether you're newly diagnosed or have been part of the ocular melanoma community for years, this event is designed to help you feel informed, supported, and heard.

We're targeting late February 2027 and will be sharing more details, registration information, and the official dates as plans come together.

For now, mark your calendars and stay tuned!

Scientists have identified a mechanism that may allow these experimental compounds to selectively trigger cancer cell death, offering a promising avenue for future treatment research.
