Happy 919 Day! To celebrate, let’s do another Squirrel Trail Run on Saturday, January 2, 2027!

Deer hunting season will be over, so let’s get together for some fun! Kick off the year with a fun point-to-point “20k” trail run on the Mountains to Sea Trail. Run with a group from the gate at Falls Dam to the Bayleaf Church Road trail crossing. There will be an aid station halfway at the end of Possum Track Road and at the finish.

This is a fat a$$ aka free run, but we are limiting it to 100 spots, so sign up on UltraSignup to secure yours! And get a shirt to support the cause!

Looking to run your fastest mile ever on Sir Walter Miler Weekend? We have the race for you! The Raleigh RunDown is the fastest mile in North Carolina! Starting atop Centennial Parkway and heading down, the Raleigh RunDown is your chance for a PR!

5:30pm – Packet Pickup / Race Day Registration (ending at 6:15pm – at starting line).
6:30pm – Women’s Race
7:00pm – Men’s Race
7:45pm – Awards at Trophy Brewing Company on Maywood Ave

Finishing off the 2026 Tour de Walter season with a fun road mile in the countryside of southwest Raleigh.

It’s a classic out-and-back route that is NOT hilly! You’ll see horses and will feel like you’re in a Tracksmith ad as you run along Dover Farm Road.

Added bonus: Stop by the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle farm produce stand when you’re done!

Stage 3 of the Tour de Walter is now live! It wouldn’t be a Tour de Walter without a return to the North “Hills”

The back half of this one will give you a nice downhill stretch that should get you ready for the Raleigh RunDown Downhill Mile on Saturday, August 8th.

Congrats to Silas Thompson and Kate Sanborn on taking the wins last week and holding down the yellow jersey!

We hope you had fun on the Valley Ranger Mile hill(s). This one is a quick spin on the Mountains-to-Sea Trail where you get to run from Wake County to Durham County (and back). First one on the trails clears the cobwebs!

Tonight’s the night!

We wrap up the 2026 Pop Up Miles season at Meredith College, home of the Sir Walter Miler!

We’ll kick it off with an Open Mile at 7pm that is open to anyone. Then we’ll have the Women’s and Men’s Championships, with the Winners having the opportunity to qualify for the Sir Walter Miler, which will be on Friday, August 7th. We’ll wrap it up with a 4x400m relay and then head across the street for a post-series party at Raleigh Brewing. We hope you’ll join us!
