Lead Mine Elementary PTA The Lead Mine PTA fosters closer relationships between parents, educators and the community.

How does the PTA support the children of Lead Mine?

• We provide significant resources to support our teachers, specialists, and administrators with their curriculum needs.

• We sponsor student activities such as Lyrical Leopards, Leopard Live, Science Fair and many more.

• We sponsor low cost family events such as Carnival, Movie Night, Media by Moonlight and more.

• We provide cultur

al arts programming throughout the year.

• We coordinate parent volunteers in the Media Center and the Copy / Laminating Center , taking on tasks so that teachers and their assistants can have more time with our children.

• We are a voice for our children and our school.

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow parents, learn more about the PTA, and let the kids have some year-end fun with their LMES friends. Hope to see you there! 💙💛🐆

5th grade memories made at Hammocks Beach State Park 🌊☀️

From ferry rides and beach exploration to hands-on learning about North Carolina’s coastal ecosystems, our students had an unforgettable day of discovery and adventure. For many, this was their very first trip to the coast — and even their first time seeing the ocean!
We’re so grateful for the opportunity to provide experiences that spark curiosity, build connections, and create lifelong memories. 💙
