💚 Happy Father's Day!

Today we celebrate the fathers who support their families with love, care, and encouragement.

Fathers can play an important role in supporting breastfeeding. A kind word, help at home, holding the baby, or being there when support is needed can make a difference for mothers and babies.

Thank you to all the fathers who support their families every day.

🌍 Multilingual Online Conference: 18-19 October 2026

The conference logo is now available in the official languages of LLLI: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), English, French, German, Japanese, and Spanish.

These versions reflect the many languages and communities connected through La Leche League around the world.

The conference will include multilingual sessions and translated content. Topics will include breastfeeding in emergencies, skin-to-skin contact, allergies and breastfeeding, leadership and support skills, and more.

We look forward to welcoming our international community.

Mother’s Day brings back beautiful memories for me. ❤️

When my second child was born, my mom came to help us. She cared for my first child, helped with the housework, and gave me the time and support I needed to breastfeed my son.

She did all of this in a country where she did not speak the language.

Her love, support, and encouragement made a difference in my breastfeeding journey.

Sometimes, small acts of care can change a mother’s experience forever. 💝

A mother’s love can truly change the world. Happy Mother’s Day ❤️
