With very heavy hearts we share the passing of our dear friend Don Childers.
Don was an incredibly kind, giving, gracious man and we will always remember him and the positive impact he had on thousands of industry professionals. Don dedicated countless hours and years to NCSLVA through training, and serving on the Board including as President.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Don's family and friends during this very difficult time.
It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our longtime team member and friend, Don Childers.
Don dedicated decades of his life to the security industry and to Security Central, serving in many roles from alarm technician to Corporate Trainer. His career was defined by the impact he made on the people and the work around him. He brought deep technical knowledge, a strong sense of responsibility, and a contagious passion to support our team, dealers, and industry colleagues.
Don was a mentor for so many; he shared his knowledge freely and invested time in growing others. Many people across our company and throughout our industry are better because of the time they spent learning from and working alongside him.
Beyond his work, we will remember Don for his kindness, his calm nature, and the relationships he built over the years.
Don Childers meant a great deal to our team and to the industry he served. His absence will be deeply felt, but the impact he had on people and on this company will remain.
Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who knew him.
