Service Above Self
There's something that all Rotary club members have in common: We take action. As community volunteers, we reach out to neighbors in need. We build, support, and organize. We save lives. We work locally and globally. The Four Way Test of the things we think, say or do. In the ongoing spirit of "Service Above Self" Punta Gorda Rotarians participate in many events, and community
service projects. Through fundraising efforts through out the year we are able to support unique opportunities to make a difference in the community we serve. In 2014, we donated $25,000 to the City of Punta Gorda for exercise equipment at the Linear Park and we donated $14,000 to the Charlotte Local Education Foundation to provide computers in several schools. We have annual events also such as Scholarships, Dictionary Project, Thanksgiving Baskets, Salvation Army Bell Rings, Children's Holiday Party & much more. PO Box 511132
