🌟 VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH: TOM CITTADINO! 🇺🇸

Please join us in congratulating Tom Cittadino, our November Volunteer of the Month at the Military Heritage Museum!

Since joining our volunteer team in April 2025, Tom has dedicated hundreds of hours to sharing history with visitors as both a Gallery Guide and Huey Helicopter Guide.

His knowledge, patience and genuine passion for preserving the stories of those who served make every visit more meaningful. Whether guiding guests through exhibits or lending a helping hand, Tom consistently goes above and beyond.

Exciting News from Our Executive Director

Dear Museum Friends,

We have exciting news! The Military Heritage Museum has signed a new long-term lease, marking an important step in our future.

Having a place to carry this mission forward matters. It means we can continue honoring our veterans, preserving history, and bringing people together to learn from the stories of those who served. It gives us the opportunity to pass those stories on to future generations so they understand the service and sacrifice behind the freedoms we enjoy.

We cannot say enough about how welcoming and accommodating the new property owners have been. They want the Museum here. They see us as a valued community institution and a partner, and their willingness to work with us has made a real difference. We are grateful for their support and their belief in our mission.

To our volunteers, donors, members, and visitors, thank you. You make this work possible. Every hour you give, every contribution you make, and every visit helps keep these stories alive.

This is a milestone worth celebrating, and we look forward to building on it together!

Beginning November 7, the Military Heritage Museum is launching Saturdays at the Museum: History Mini Camps for students in 4th–8th grade.

Each three-hour camp takes kids beyond the textbook with interactive experiences that bring incredible moments in American military history to life. Throughout the series, they’ll explore stories of our veterans, Pearl Harbor, the Berlin Airlift and life beneath the sea.
