Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Sean McLaughlin as New Executive Director
The Board of Directors of the Punta Gorda Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the appointment of Sean McLaughlin as the Chamber’s new Executive Director, effective August 4, 2025.
Sean brings a wealth of leadership experience in nonprofit management, community development, and business growth strategy to the role. A respected figure in the region’s civic and nonprofit sectors, Sean is also a graduate of Leadership Charlotte and previously served as Vice President of the Leadership Charlotte Alumni Association through the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce.
With over two decades of experience, Sean has held numerous executive positions, including Chief Executive Officer of The Arc Marion and Chief Operating Officer of the Loveland Center, where he significantly expanded programs, raised millions in funding, and strengthened services for underserved populations. He is the founder and current owner of Lollie Consulting, where he has continued his passion for helping individuals and nonprofits thrive across Florida.
Sean’s deep roots in the community, dynamic leadership style, and proven track record in building meaningful relationships position him as a strong advocate for Punta Gorda’s businesses and economic growth.
