Barbara Berman, board Vice President of A.N.A.’s Friends was our guest speaker today! Formerly known as the Guardian ad Litem Foundation, A.N.A.’s Friends serves abused, neglected and abandoned children in Charlotte and 4 other surrounding counties.

Six members from the Punta Gorda Kiwanis Club went to Orlando to attend DCON along with many more from Division 18! What a great weekend! Starting in October, our own Linda Skaathun (pronounced a couple of different ways) will be the new Kiwanis Governor of the Florida District! Looking forward to the 26/27 Kiwanis year!

The Punta Gorda Kiwanis Club would like to thank Smiles of Punta Gorda for donating toothbrushes and toothpaste to our Caring For Kids Project. The year round schools have already received theirs and the regular schools will receive theirs in August/September!

Caring For Kids part 2! Today we delivered items to East Elementary, Peace River Elementary and Neil Armstrong Elementary! We will fill more orders in August when regular schools open up!

Athletes must be 7 year old to practice, but to compete at the State Games, they must be 8 years old on or before the State Games.
📣 We are especially looking to build a Flag Football Team and are looking for new athletes!
