The Lindsey Ann Varney Foundation was created in honor of Lindsey Ann Varney.

This foundation seeks to raise awareness and contribute to the cause of finding a cure for DIPG.

On December 17, the Lindsey Ann Varney Foundation will make our annual Christmas trip to the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis, Tennessee, to bring Christmas joy to families whose children are receiving care at St. Jude. 💜

This tradition is deeply personal to us. We spent our first Christmas after Lindsey’s diagnosis at the Ronald McDonald House, and they went above and beyond to make the holiday special for the children and their families. In the middle of so much fear and uncertainty, they gave us moments of joy that we will never forget.

That’s why we return each year—to give back to a place that means so much to our family and help other families make precious Christmas memories.

Our foundation spends approximately $2,000 each year on Christmas for the house. If you would like to help, we would be grateful for a monetary donation, gift cards, or toys for us to take along! Gift cards are especially thoughtful for teenagers, who can sometimes be harder to shop for.

💜 With heavy hearts, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Lindsey’s Fall Festival today, October 3.

So much love, time, and hard work have gone into preparing for this day, and we were looking forward to sharing it with all of you. But the safety of our families, children, volunteers, and vendors must come first. We don’t want anyone getting hurt or feeling they have to take a chance to attend.

This festival means so much to our family. It honors Lindsey’s memory and helps us support children and families facing some of their hardest days. Canceling is heartbreaking, but caring for people is at the heart of everything we do.

To our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, and everyone who planned to come—thank you for your generosity, encouragement, and understanding. Your support means more than you know.
