Preschool children in Mercer County are invited to bring their families to snuggle up and read on Thursday, November 13, at 5:30 pm! Participants will listen to a special story time read by Emily Smith, principal of the Mercer Early Learning Center. Afterwards preschool children will receive a snack and choose a free blanket and books. The event will take place in the former Shoe Show Store next to Maurices at Mercer Mall. Registration required. Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to attend free hands-on activities and experiments on Tuesday, March 18 at 5:30 pm. Leap Into Science: Coding and Robotics will take place in the Mercer Mall, Space # 260. This event is sponsored by the Community Foundation of the Virginias, Inc., Mercer Mall, Read Aloud WV of Mercer County, Mercer County; Public Schools, Craft Memorial Library and Princeton Public Library.
