The Mercer County Deputy Sheriff's Association is hosting a Sports Card, Collectibles, and Memorabilia Show at the Princeton Recreational Center on September 20, 2025 from 9:00am to 4:00pm

Cost : $45.00 per booth or $80.00 for two.
(Vendors are responsible for their own tables and chairs)

Registration form and fee must be received by September 17, 2025

Today Deputies with Mercer County Sheriff’s Department, members of the DSA teamed up with Child Protect CAC/Starting Points FSC for the annual Shop with a Deputy event at the Princeton Walmart. We appreciate all the support for the DSA throughout the year to help make this possible.

Today 3 of our Deputies, Justin Lucas, Justin Brooks, and Aaron Presley completed the Basic SWAT course. They received 40 hrs of instruction on various aspects such as room clearing, breaching doors, less lethal munitions, tactical medical procedures, and shooting their patrol rifles and handguns in close proximity to other team members. They will continue their training each month at the Mercer County Sheriff's Department WV. We are thankful for their service to our community and the additional time they put in during training.

We’d like to thank all the officers who attended our Basic SWAT Class 002 this week in Philippi, WV. Also, a big thank you to all of the SBG Tac WV instructors. Without you, these great classes would not be possible. Agencies represented at the class this week:

Today Mercer County DSA was able to put the money from fund raising to good use. We partnered with Child Protect Services CAC/Starting Points FSC to shop with 15 kids from our area. They helped identify the kids in need to take to our first Shop with a Deputy event. We are thankful for the people that support us throughout the year with different fund raisers, Child Protect Services CAC/Starting Points FSC, and Princeton Walmart in making this event possible.
