The “Animals in Glass” presentation at the October Portland’s Rain of Glass collectors club meeting was splendid. We enjoyed a diverse range of both manufacturers and animals depicted, ranging from 1880s pattern glass with animal motifs to Baccarat figurines!

Our next meeting will be Tuesday, October 20th. Doors open at 5:30pm, meeting starts at 6:00pm.

Our Portland’s Rain of Glass September meeting featured smoker’s items, with an emphasis on items made by the A.H. Heisey Glass Company of Newark, Ohio. Cigarette boxes, cigarette vases, ash trays and ash receivers, matchbox holders and matchbook stands all made an appearance.
