Hey our community and art loving longtime neighbors Binks on Alberta Street needs some help creating a very cool project in a sad trashed alleyway near their business ⬇️⬇️⬇️ read on for deets.
From Binks “Help Us Turn an Eyesore into Art
If you’ve been down Alberta lately, you’ve seen the giant construction site across from BINKS. Instead of waiting around for someone else to fix it, we’re teaming up with our friends at Antler Gallery to do something beautiful.
Our goal is to wrap the perimeter of the lot with large-scale murals by local artists, creating a vibrant public art installation for the neighborhood. To make that happen, we’re raising money for materials and to pay the artists creating the murals.
On Monday, August 10, we’re throwing a community fundraiser!
🎟️ At Antler Gallery: Browse original artwork donated by local artists. Purchase raffle tickets and place them in the bucket beside the piece you’d most love to win.
🍻 At BINKS: We’ll be hosting a community raffle featuring prizes donated by local businesses, artists, and neighbors. Plus, 25% of all BINKS sales that evening will be donated directly to the mural project.
Here’s where you come in…
We’re looking for raffle prizes!
Have a gift certificate? A handmade item? Tickets to an event? A unique experience? A piece of art? A service you’d like to donate? We’d be incredibly grateful.
Please DM us if you’d like to contribute a raffle item. Every donation—big or small—helps transform an empty lot into a neighborhood landmark that celebrates the creativity and heart of Alberta Street.
Let’s show what this community what we can do when we come together. ❤️”
