Sometimes looks like kitting food in a parking lot / Devine chaos
So I got a message last night from our community partner who informed us that they would not be able to provide produce boxes this week. So I decided to run a grocery outlet and see what I could do with a budget of $160 ($20 per family, 8 families)
As luck would have it, grocery outlet got their shipment in late. So there was boxes everywhere. Then, while holding a jar of spaghetti sauce, I tripped, droped the jar and it crashed all over the floor and then onto my shoe. The staff was really helpful and apologetic. They even helped me clean up my shoe even.
I then walked up to the cash register with my fingers crossed. Because I lost track of the math due to the sauce incident. The manager then told the person behind the register, To give me a 20% discount.
BOOM SON! under budget
Each family will receive 3 meals, a bag of potatoes, a jar of applesauce, and some snacks. Now, off to deliver some food.
