Every child participating in Izzy’s Kids “Shop With A Cop today is spending a $165 Fred Meyer gift card for new school clothes with help from Portland Police Bureau and other first responders!

Thank you to all of our agency partners for connecting us with 240 kids to bring them this amazing experience.

Sunshine Division is pairing 240 kids with Portland Police Bureau and other first responders at the 25th Annual Izzy’s Kids “Shop With A Cop” at the Johnson Creek Fred Meyer.

Each child will be getting new clothes to start the year off right, plus donated backpacks from Columbia Sportswear and school supplies from The Boeing Company.

The 25th anniversary of Izzy’s Kids “Shop With A Cop” is just getting started! We’re partnering with the Portland Police Bureau and Fred Meyer to take 240 kids back-to-school shopping.

Each child will also get a free backpack donated by Columbia Sportswear and school supplies donated by The Boeing Company.

This is a referral-based program. We partnered with over a dozen agencies, schools and fellow nonprofits to identify each child based on financial need.

Tomorrow, Sunshine Division is celebrating 25 years of partnering with Fred Meyer and the Portland Police Bureau for Izzy's Kids "Shop With A Cop."

We’ll be welcoming 240 kids for an unforgettable back-to-school shopping experience, where they’ll get to pick out their own clothes for the school year. Each child will also receive a backpack donated by Columbia Sportswear and school supplies donated by The Boeing Company.

Izzy's Kids is a referral-based program. Each child was identified through our network of agency partners based on financial need.

A special thank you to our agency partners: Our Just Future, Bienestar de la Familia - Multnomah County Human Services, Somali American Council of Oregon ( SACOO), Lutheran Community Services Northwest, Healthy Birth Initiative, Oregon Department of Human Services, PPB Victim Services Unit, Multnomah County Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities Services, Somali Oregon Service Center and Afghan Support Network.

A huge thank you to The Boeing Company for donating enough school supplies to fill 250 backpacks, and volunteering to help us get them ready for our annual Izzy’s Kids “Shop With A Cop” event!

And a big shoutout to Columbia Sportswear for donating all of the backpacks. 🎒

This Thursday, we’ll be partnering with Fred Meyer, Portland Police Bureau, and first responders from across the Portland metro area to give local kids an unforgettable back-to-school shopping experience. Each child will receive new clothes and a backpack to start the school year off right.

Sunshine Division is looking for two volunteers to join us at the 14th Annual Sunshine Classic Golf Tournament in Aloha on Thursday, September 10! ⛳

We need a pair of witnesses for the Matson Hole-in-One Contest from 2:30–5:00 p.m. Grab a friend and join us at the beautiful The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club!

We’ll make sure you have shade, snacks and a place to sit while you watch our supporters tee off and try to make a hole-in-one.

All proceeds from the Sunshine Classic help provide free groceries to families experiencing food insecurity.
