Apathy isn’t that you don’t know. It’s that somewhere along the way, you stopped caring.

It can begin so quietly.

The Holy Spirit nudges you, “Pray for her,” and you don’t.

He asks you to stop, speak, give, go, forgive, and you brush past it. Nothing dramatic happens in that moment, but little by little, ignoring His voice can become normal.

Apathy is like a slow leak in the soul, and eventually we find ourselves shrugging at the very things that move the heart of God.

We ask God for big assignments, big impact, big moves of His Spirit, but what if the way back to a burning heart is much simpler? Obey the next thing He says. Pray when He says pray. Move when He says move. Care about what He cares about.

If you’ve felt your fire growing dim, ask the Holy Spirit today: “Where have I stopped responding to You?” Then start there.

Some of us are asking God to speak while hitting snooze on the last thing He said.

Samuel heard his name in the middle of the night and got up. Again and again, he responded. He didn’t fully understand whose voice he was hearing yet, but his heart was willing to move.

There is something about that posture that matters deeply to God: “Speak, Lord, for your servant hears.” (1 Samuel 3:9)

I don’t want to become so tired, distracted, comfortable, or lukewarm that I stop responding when He calls. God is speaking, and obedience keeps our ears tender to His voice.

So wake up, Church. Listen closely. Get up when He calls your name, and move when He tells you to move.

What is the last thing the Lord asked you to do? Maybe today is the day to answer Him.

Surrender is powerful, and it always comes before the miracle. 

We all want the proof first; the guarantee, and the outcome.

Trusting in Jesus often looks like jumping when all you have is His voice, and choosing to obey even when you’re scared. 

If you’re waiting until it feels safe, you’ll miss what God wants to show you! 

Remember the times He caught you? You have history with Him! And that history gives you permission to trust Him again. 

You’ll never regret obeying God, but you might regret holding back. So LEAP!

You are not in second place when it comes to your assignment. 

Whether you’re young or seasoned, your story, your perseverance, and what God has formed in you matter. 

The next generation needs leaders who are willing to step up, pour out what they’ve learned, and believe that this generation can change the world. 

Your life carries purpose, and someone is waiting for your courage.
