Juneteenth is a celebration of freedom through resilience and most importantly, organized resistance. We honor this day by sharing in the burden of a democracy not yet fulfilled. However heavy, this burden did not limit the radical imagination of the ancestors or dim their vision for justice. Today, we see their reflections in educators, worker organizers, and community leaders on the frontlines against an authoritarian takeover.

This , we celebrate all those who continue to carry the torch for democracy.
