Come out for the Kenton Community Bike Ride happening this Saturday. This time, the ride is all about sidewalk joy!

🗓️ Saturday, August 22, from 9:30am - 12pm

📍 Meet at Kenton Park (near the restrooms) at 9:30am. The ride begins at 10am and will return around 12pm.

🚲 Enjoy a gentle ride with frequent stops to get big doses of sidewalk joy from visiting little free libraries, exchanges, and public art in Kenton, Portsmouth, and St Johns. For maximum fun at the stops, bring books, puzzles, stickers, trinkets, mugs, small pieces of art, and poems to leave or exchange!

Today’s the day! Come by the KNA booth, say hi and get some new Kenton merch. We have stickers designed by Billiam and our classic Kenton shirts in three new colors. The street fair is going until 6pm and you can find us at the corner of Kilpatrick. 😎

Kenton’s biggest event of the year is happening this weekend: the 14th annual Kenton Street Fair, presented by !

🗓: Sunday, August 16th, 10am-6pm
📍: On N Denver Ave between N Interstate & N Watts

We're looking forward to live music on two stages, delicious food, and so many amazing vendors!

Plus: Visit the KNA booth to say hello, learn about upcoming activities, and snag some awesome swag — we’ll have super cool Kenton stickers and our signature tees in three new rad colors and extended sizes XS-4XL.

Community bonus points: Kenton Antiques & Collectibles organizes the street fair and runs a food pantry out of the shop that supports a number of folks and families in the neighborhood. If you want to show some extra appreciation for the work that goes into making the street fair happen they would love for you to bring some shelf-stable, non-perishable, unexpired goods (especially anything with protein!) with you to help stock the pantry.

Noise monitors are currently deployed and collecting data across the Kenton neighborhood, and the goal of the community noise survey is to add a human face and personal experiences to the data.

The survey was delivered to Kenton residents with the Kenton Connect, but you can also pick up a copy at the library. You can drop completed surveys at the locations listed below or find instructions on they survey for how to use your unique code identifier to respond online. All residents and business owners in the Kenton and Portsmouth neighborhoods are eligible to participate.

Completed surveys can be returned to one of these locations through this Saturday, August 1:
- Kenton Library (8226 N Denver Ave)
- Kenton Firehouse (8105 N Brandon Ave; mail slot located on N Schofield St side of the building)
