The Fruits of the spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. How many fruits do you present in a day, and is it only to people you like or everyone you meet?
We know that the spirit is in us when these actions are part of our everyday character. Especially, when it's easier to display a worldly nature, but I firmly believe these fruits aren't for us to consume, but for those we meet in life. We should always provide substance for the people we come in contact with. Let's continue to share the gifts of God, and remember that the takeaway shouldn't be what we get from others, but what we give.
John 21:15-17
15When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
16Again Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Take care of my sheep.”
17The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep
