Support a Survivor 💜
If you suspect someone you love may be experiencing intimate partner violence or has survived sexual assault, you don’t have to navigate it alone. HAVEN is here to support you, too.

Supporting a survivor can start with simply listening, believing them, and reminding them: “It’s not your fault.” Avoid judgment or pressure, and instead ask, “What do you need from me?” Give them space to make their own decisions and know that safety planning can be an important first step.

You can be a source of compassion, validation, and support. You don’t have to be the survivor to reach out to HAVEN. Our trained staff can provide information, guidance, and resources to help you support someone you care about.

💜 Believe them.
💜 Listen without judgment.
💜 Respect their choices.
💜 Help them explore safety and support.

Our annual Back 2 School Bash was a success because of YOU! Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time and energy on August 15 to help make this special event possible. We truly could not host client events like this without your support!

At our Back 2 School Bash, HAVEN empowers K–12 kiddos to choose their own back-to-school style, with dozens of options including backpacks, pencil cases, notebooks, folders, and so much more. ✏️📓🎒

This year, we were thrilled to serve 114 kiddos, helping them head back to school feeling prepared, confident, and excited!
