🏕️📚 **Cuddle Up & READ! Making Memories, One Story at a Time!** 💛🧡

What happens when you combine family, camping, literacy, and a little creativity? You create memories that last a lifetime! ✨

Pontiac READS! was thrilled to partner with **We Love Lit** for their annual family camping trip with Oakland County Parks and Rotary Club of Pontiac/Bloomfield by creating special **“Cuddle Up & READ!” buckets** filled with fun, learning, and a whole lot of love! 🧡

Each bucket was thoughtfully packed with goodies to help families connect, explore, and enjoy quality time together, including:

🔦 Headlights for nighttime adventures and reading under the stars!

🍪 Wonderfully curated *Chocolate Chip Cookies in a Jar* kits, lovingly prepared by **zzs_bakehouse**, for families to bake and enjoy together!

🎲 Fun games and activities to encourage family bonding, laughter, and learning!

🎁 And a few extra surprises to make the camping experience even more special!

At Pontiac READS!, we believe **literacy happens everywhere — not just in classrooms!** Whether it's reading by flashlight, following a recipe together, playing games, or sharing stories around the campfire, every experience is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect.

Is an engineering degree still worth the investment? Research points to yes, with an estimated lifetime ROI of 762%.

Engineers also tend to experience lower unemployment, higher early-career earnings and some of the lowest rates of regret about their chosen field of study. But those benefits aren’t experienced equally. Women remain underrepresented in engineering and, in most states, earn only 80% to 89% of what men engineers earn on average.
