Firefly Sisterhood Firefly Sisterhood: Providing hope & emotional support to women impacted by breast cancer through one-to-one peer mentorship, community, and education.

No one should face breast cancer alone. In response to extensive research led by the Yoplait division of General Mills, Firefly Sisterhood was founded in Minnesota in 2014 with a bright vision: a world where no woman faces breast cancer alone. Firefly Sisterhood is a nonprofit organization that matches women recently diagnosed with breast cancer to women who have walked a similar path. Our one-to-

one mentorship matches offer social and emotional support at a crucial time in the breast cancer experience. Firefly Sisterhood exists to bring light and hope to women facing a breast cancer diagnosis.

Help us welcome Natalie Skow to the Firefly Sisterhood Team!

Natalie is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare and social work field. She specializes in developing programs that promote mental and emotional health awareness within healthcare organizations.

Natalie is passionate about integrating compassion and trauma-informed care into medical settings. She walks alongside women through vulnerable seasons, educates others on providing emotionally healthy support, and partners with health systems to cultivate trauma-sensitive, holistic care practices.

Her volunteer work has included providing trauma counseling to women affected by ISIS violence and to survivors of abuse in overseas communities. Outside of her professional work, Natalie enjoys spending time outdoors—camping, exploring nature, and making memories with her son.
