An unconference is a time for sharing presentations: talks, rituals, and short workshops. Instead of a pre-set schedule, the presentation schedule is set by the attendees on the day of the gathering. Uncons encourage first-time presenters by lowering the barrier to entry, and gives more experienced presenters room to be experimental or playful.

Presentations will be voted on at the beginning of the conference. Sadly, not all presentations will be chosen. If your presentation doesn't get chosen consider having a workshop at our temple!

The 2026 Golden Thread Uncon aims to bring together Thelemites and assorted occultists for a day of knowledge sharing. A catered lunch will be provided to all attendees.Registration closes on Friday, July 3rd, at 5 pm EDT. Registration is $50-$100 with scholarship slots available. A $25 dollar deposit is required to secure your lunch. Full payment is due at registration close. Golden Thread accepts cash, checks, Zelle, and Paypal.

May is going to be a busy month for us. Along with the events on the flyers, we host a free online study group. We are currently covering Crowley's "General Principals of Astrology". The group meets every Thursday at 8 pm Eastern.

For those interested but who cannot make it to our temple, I want to highlight our Meet & Greets, which happen in various neighborhoods around Pittsburgh. May's Meet & Greet will be at Chimera Brewing. If you would like to suggest a location, please comment!

A final highlight is our Feast of Cattle on May 3rd, which centers Hekate and the Chaldean Oracles. We will be charging $15 for this ritual instead of our usual $10. ( I may or may not have blown a lot of cash on supplies and books. Oops. 😋)
