CON(dor) you believe it? Marijo turned four on Sunday, and Chavín is the big 4-0 today!

Our staff made bird-day presents in their honor, each stuffed with their favorite goodies. Lianni (Marijo’s mom) and Illimani even joined in on the condor celebrations! 🎉

Some guests leave with souvenirs. This one left with 9 ducklings. 🥺

Earlier this spring, a wild Mallard chose the National Aviary's Rose Garden as the perfect place to nest and lay her eggs. We watched from a respectful distance as she diligently incubated them, and we're delighted to say that upon hatching, she (with a little help from her National Aviary friends) led her ducklings off on their next adventure at Lake Elizabeth in Allegheny Commons Park! 💙
