The purpose of this Association shall be: To enlist men and boys and women and girls in a worldwide fellowship united by a common loyalty to Jesus Christ for the purpose of building Christian Personality and a Christian Society. In keeping with this purpose, the objective of this association shall be to develop the Christian Character and usefulness of its members, to improve their spiritual, mental, social, and physical condition and to associate their efforts in building a Christian Society.

We had a great week at Summer Camp!

From exciting field trips to a petting zoo to swimming, games and crafts, there was nonstop fun and adventure all week long!

Summer camp is about so much more than keeping kids busy, it's a chance for them to explore new interests and create lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment.

We can't wait to see what adventures next week brings!

Splash Day at the Powdersville YMCA is more than just a fun day in the water, it’s a life saving learning experience!

This past Saturday kids participated in hands-on activities focused on building water safety awareness and confidence. Through guided instruction, they learned key Splash principles like supervision, prevention, checking water depth before entering, staying within arm’s reach of adults, and the importance of swim lessons.

These are skills that last a lifetime and can truly save lives!

Help us welcome Amber Johansen to her new role as Wellness Director at the Powdersville YMCA!

Amber has been part of our YMCA family for 7 years, and many of you already know her friendly face and positive energy. Originally from Arkansas, she brings a deep passion for helping others improve their mind, body, and spirit through health and wellness.

She believes wellness should be simple and accessible for everyone, no matter where you are starting from. When she’s not at the branch, you’ll likely find her outdoors hiking or spending time with her two children.

If you see Amber around the branch, make sure to say hello!

Introducing Camp MAK!

The YMCA of Easley, Pickens & Powdersville is proud to offer our very first childcare program specifically designed to support children with disabilities.

Camp MAK will take place at our Powdersville YMCA and will provide a safe and welcoming environment where every child can build friendships and have fun while being supported by caring staff who understand their unique needs.

At the Y, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to belong and create unforgettable memories. We are excited to begin this new chapter for our community and families.
