A LITTLE REMINDER ABOUT OUR MEDIA TEAM'S WORK.
Matt Way ( Moon Daze ), Bryan Mann, and Jarod Richardson busted their tails to capture the beauty of our gatherings. We need to respect their art.
Please do not edit, alter, filter, crop, run through AI, or otherwise manipulate photographs or videos taken by our Nexus Nebula media team without their explicit permission.
And honestly, this goes beyond Nexus Nebula. Please stop taking other people's photography and artwork and putting it through AI or editing it without asking the person who created it.
There is a human being behind that camera. There is an artist behind that lens. They have a vision, an eye, a style, and an intention behind the way they capture a moment. That is THEIR work.
When you take someone's photograph and run it through AI, change the colors, add things, remove things, or alter the original image, you're taking away from the artist's creative expression. You're also potentially violating their copyright and intellectual property rights.
If you want something changed, ASK. If you want to use someone's work in a different way, ASK. And if you love a photograph enough to share it, love it enough to respect the person who created it.
Our media team works hard to document these experiences, and we want their work represented as THEY intended it to be seen.
Photography is art. Not a free template for everyone to manipulate.
Respect the artists. Respect the work. Give credit where credit is due. And remember that just because something is posted online doesn't mean you have permission to do whatever you want with it.
Much love to our media team and every creative out there putting their heart into their work!
