What a powerful day of victory!

Today, we celebrate Seth Thompson as he officially graduated Drug Court and walked into a brand-new season of freedom. Not only did Seth complete the program, but he was also exonerated of two charges and now stands as a free man.

What the enemy meant for destruction, God has turned into a testimony. Seth’s journey has been marked by perseverance, growth, accountability, and the transforming power of Jesus Christ. He chose to do the hard work, stay the course, and trust God through every step of the process.

This is more than a legal victory—it’s a reminder that redemption is real, freedom is possible, and lives can be completely transformed. We are incredibly proud of you, Seth. Thank you for allowing God to write a new chapter in your story.

Congratulations, brother. Your past no longer defines you. Walk boldly into the future God has prepared for you.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

Day 2 & 3:
We started off the morning in the Scriptures as we talked about the importance of the Cross. Each resident was given a piece of paper and a nail, and one by one they nailed their past, their shame, and their guilt to the Cross — leaving it there on the island, never to pick it back up again. What a powerful reminder that in Christ, we are made new.

The men at the Pelzer campus were also able to enjoy a time of relaxation and fellowship through archery, boating, fishing, riding the zip line into the lake, and launching each other on the blob.

It was more than just a fun getaway — it was a life-changing spiritual experience that will never be forgotten. God moved in a powerful way, and we are grateful for every moment.

Day 1: Resident Vacation was one to remember. The guys kicked things off doing what they love most — eating good food and enjoying fellowship together. We made a stop at Golden Corral where everyone got their bellies full and shared plenty of laughs along the way.

We closed the night around the bonfire making s’mores, worshipping, and spending intentional time together. Moments like these are a reminder that rest, brotherhood, and the presence of God all matter. Grateful for the opportunity to pour into these men and watch God continue to move in their lives.

This weekend at our Resident Vacation, we witnessed something beautiful.

13 men made the decision to re-dedicate their lives, and several gave their lives to Christ through baptism. What a powerful reminder of the mercy, grace, and transforming love of God.

Watching chains break, hearts soften, and lives surrender to Jesus never gets old. Heaven rejoices over every soul, and we are beyond grateful for what God did this weekend.

Please continue to pray for these men as they walk forward in freedom, purpose, and new life in Christ.

Family, this next weekend we will be taking our men on a vacation and time of refreshing. We ask that you would join us in prayer and align your hearts with Heaven for every man attending. Pray that this weekend would not just be a getaway, but a divine encounter with the presence of God.

Pray for rest over weary minds, peace over heavy hearts, and renewal for those who have been carrying burdens in silence. We believe the Lord will use this time to strengthen, restore, and uplift these men spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

Pray for unity, protection, joy, and genuine encounters with Jesus. May chains be broken, vision be restored, and hope be renewed. We are believing for laughter, healing, brotherhood, and moments that remind these men that they are loved by God and called for a purpose.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Lord, we thank You in advance for what You are going to do this weekend. Cover every mile traveled, every conversation, every leader, and every resident. Let this be a weekend marked by Your peace, Your presence, and Your power. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Hope Center Ministries Graduation was a huge success! We had the honor of celebrating two men who completed one full year of discipleship at our Pelzer campus.

In life, it’s rarely just about the destination—it’s about the journey, the growth, and the transformation along the way.

Congratulations, Jeff and Kristen! Your perseverance, faith, and commitment are inspiring. This is only the beginning of what God has in store for you.

Part 2: Mother’s Day Family Day 💙

Yesterday was powerful.

While we celebrated Mother’s Day with joy and an amazing turnout, we also took time to honor another reality—many of our residents no longer have their mothers with them.

To recognize that, we held a special balloon release for those men. We paused for a moment of silence and lifted up a prayer in remembrance of the mothers who have passed.

It was a moment filled with reflection, healing, and unity. Even in the midst of loss, God met us there.

We’re grateful to walk through both the joy and the pain together as a family.
