Did you see our new trees? Across the Square from the Savoy, two new Cornus kousa
"Scarlet Fire" trees were recently planted, as part of a special gift from members of our community in honor of the 50th anniversary of Friends of Rittenhouse Square! These are a new specimen of hybridized dogwood trees, developed by Rutgers University. Once fully established, these trees will put out stunning red flowers each Spring, and are sure to provide significant interest for many years to come!
