East Passyunk Crossing Civic East Passyunk Crossing Civic Association is a non-profit volunteer organization spanning the area from 6th to Broad, Tasker to Snyder.

EPX Civic empowers neighbors to contribute to a vibrant, inclusive community. We provide a forum for, and strive to reach consensus on, zoning and land use issues. We advocate for quality, well-kept public spaces in our neighborhood. We connect residents to resources and to each other.

Our next monthly cleanup is happening on Saturday, October 10th! This month we are cleaning smaller streets between 6th and Mifflin and 7th and Snyder. We’ll meet at 9:30 AM at the EPX Community Garden at 1016 Watkins Street and walk as a group to 6th and Mifflin.

Our next monthly cleanup is happening on Saturday, October 10th! This month we are cleaning smaller streets between 6th and Mifflin and 7th and Snyder. We’ll meet at 9:30 AM at the EPX Community Garden at 1016 Watkins Street and walk as a group to 6th and Mifflin.

🌳 Volunteer: Fall Tree Planting
EPX Tree Tenders Fall Tree Planting will be Saturday, November 14 at 9am. We will be adding 15 new trees to our neighborhood and need volunteers to help plant.

All volunteers are led by trained Tree Tenders and no prior experience is needed. If you’d like to volunteer to plant trees, contact [email protected].

Save the date! The Red Gravy Cook-Off is Back! 🍝

South Philly’s favorite culinary showdown is back to answer the age-old question: who actually makes the best Sunday gravy? Join us for an afternoon of local flavor, music, a 50/50 raffle, and a full pasta dinner!

Date & Time: Sunday, Nov 8th 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Saints John Neumann and Maria Goretti High School
(enter through the parking lot at 11th & Moore!)
How It Works: Taste your way through a lineup of local homemade gravies and cast your vote for the ultimate winner. Once you’ve judged the competition, pile your plate with your favorite sauce, plus salad, bread, coffee, and dessert.

Our esteemed judges, Rep. Elizabeth Fiedler, Catie Gainor of Binding Agents, and Cary Neff of C.M. Neff Cook Supply Co. will evaluate 10 talented contestants showcasing their culinary masterpieces!

Join us on Tuesday, September 8th at 6 PM for a special tour inside this incredible mirrored mosaic space. An educator from Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens will lead a 60-minute tour of the first floor of the studio, with time to explore on your own.
