We’re still dreaming of the sister sanctuary that was our production of For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Su***de / When the Rainbow Is Enuf. 🌈 We hope you are too!
As we honored the 50th anniversary of Ntozake Shange’s groundbreaking choreopoem, we were reminded of the power, beauty, and necessity of these stories.
Thank you to everyone who supported us, laughed, cried, or yelled, “I know that’s right!” We could not have done this without you, because we do this for you.
We’re so proud of the women who brought these stories to life:
💙 BLUE: Courtney Lyneé
💜 PURPLE: M. Anastasia Robinson
🤎 BROWN: LaNeshe Miller-White
❤️ RED: Rahnda Rize
💛 YELLOW: Sabrina Winford
🧡 ORANGE: CaSandra Kay
💚 GREEN: Francine Emefa Tamakloe
🎭 Director: Cheyenne Barboza
🎶 Musical Director & Composer: Elle.Morris
💃🏾 Choreographer: Taylor J. Mitchell
We’re committed to continuing to bring BLACK, ACCESSIBLE, QUALITY theatre to Malcolm X Park.
Thank you for showing up, bringing your chair, and making space for us every year. ❤️
