Meet Clara!

Clara M.-J. is a senior at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in Baltimore, MD. She plays Varsity soccer and lacrosse, and is involved in several clubs, including the Jewish Student Union.

"I am interested in Kol Koleinu because we are witnessing attacks on women’s rights to choose and vote at the same time as we're seeing rising antisemitism. Now more than ever, feminist Jewish leadership is important, and I like that Kol Koleinu’s feminist vision is inclusive of gender minorities."

Moving Traditions is proud to announce 20 newly selected Kumi Justice Retreats participants from across the United States.

Moving Traditions’ Kumi Justice Retreats is an experience for 9-12th graders to learn about social justice while building leadership skills and creating a multiracial, Jewishly-diverse community of belonging.

Participants gain the skills they need to interrupt racism and antisemitism and create inclusive Jewish communities in their own schools, youth groups, synagogues, and eventually college campuses.

Talking about October 7 with your child can feel like protecting them from a sea of scary and disturbing events.

To help Jewish youth process the anniversary, Moving Traditions has updated the curricular session, "Yahrzeit: Remembering October 7."

Together, we can acknowledge that it’s OK to feel sad or angry when bad things happen in the world. No one has to feel those things alone or pretend they don’t exist. We can feel them together.

Congratulations to Paige GoldMarche on being named one of Philadelphia Gay News' 50 most influential LGBTQ+ Leaders of 2026!

Paige, Director of the Kol Koleinu Feminist Fellowship at Moving Traditions, was recognized in the community advocates category for her work as lead organizer of Mt. Airy Pride.

Through Kol Koleinu, Paige empowers feminist teens to build meaningful relationships, grow as leaders, and create change in their own communities, and her commitment to community and leadership is reflected in her work every day.

Congratulations to Paige for this well-deserved recognition!

A junior from California, Charlotte is passionate about neuroscience and psychology, hosts a weekly podcast, It's A Teen's World, and plays varsity lacrosse. She is also involved with the Jewish Affinity Space at her school and is excited to bring her interests and perspective as a 2nd year Teen Leader in Kol Koleinu.
