Jenkintown Festival of the Arts

We are so bummed about the cancelation of the festival...One thing people are asking and would definitely help is if you check out/patronize our vendors and sponsors.

Here is a link to our website with information about everyone!

Friends, we're sorry — Arts Fest is cancelled for Sunday. 😢

We waited as long as we possibly could, but the weather just isn't going to be conducive to a street festival. High winds are potential and probable, and between that and the rest of the forecast, we can't put everyone through it.

We've already been asked about a rain date. Unfortunately, it's not as simple as it sounds. Between the Borough and PennDOT there are a lot of approvals involved in closing these streets, but we're going to take a hard look at it for next year.

25 years we've been doing this festival. This is the first time we've ever had to cancel. That says something about how much this town shows up, rain or shine...just not this kind of wind.

To everyone who was ready to be there tomorrow: We're sorry, and we'll see you next year.

We're all looking forward to Sunday, September 27 (1:00-6:00 PM), but the forecast is still uncertain and we don't yet know for sure if we'll be able to hold the festival.

We will make the final decision by 4:00 PM on Friday and will let everyone know.

Please check back Friday before making plans, and thank you for your patience. We're keeping our fingers crossed for good weather!

Unfortunately, there is no rain date.
