Those who work in Pennsylvania radio and television programs should enjoy the same freedoms as their employers. Unfortunately, noncompete clauses trap broadcast employees, preventing them from switching jobs in their market, even when the company lets them go! SB 142, the Broadcast Freemarket Agreement Act, would do for Pennsylvania what 15 states have already done and prohibit the enforcement of noncompete clauses in broadcast employment agreements.

Hands Off the Arts is organizing a rally against the President’s drive to deface JFK’s memorial, his removal and censorship of art, and his threat to demolish the Center if he can’t remake the site in his image.

On Friday, September 18 at 6:30 PM, we will be creating a human chain around the Center during our event - Hands Around the Kennedy Center. The message is crystal clear - the Kennedy Center belongs to the American people, not one man, and if you want to tear it down you have to go through us first.
