🔥🔥 : “They voted 82% to form a union.

They negotiated their first contract.

They ratified it just weeks ago.

Now a national anti-union group is trying to break up that union.

Something’s not right about that.”

The hardworking folks have an NLRB election next week to save their union and the strong union contract they just negotiated. The attempt to decertify their union is outrageous union busting and has no place in Philadelphia. Thank you Philadelphia City Council Kenyatta Johnson 💪

Union YES.

Andrea has been at the Defender for 26 years, and Candy has been here for 24. They’ve devoted decades of their lives to providing the best holistic representation for our clients, and they’re voting YES for the union because they believe the people who make the Defender strong deserve respect, protection, and a voice in our workplace.

On June 9 & 10, we’re voting UNION YES to save our union and our union contract. KEEP “Right to Work” OUT OF PHILADELPHIA.

We are the non-attorney staff of the Defender Association, the nonprofit that provides free legal representation to Philadelphia’s most vulnerable.

A powerful right-wing group that pushes anti-union “Right to Work” legislation is trying to decertify (remove) our union and with it, our union contract.

Yes, the union we just won last year.
Yes, the union contract we just negotiated that gives us guaranteed pay increases, job security, more money for our retirement & protects our
no-cost health insurance.

UNION YES to save our union and our union contract wins.

Bosses in America spend $1.5 BILLION every year on “labor union avoidance.” Instead of expensive union-busting consultants and lawyers, wouldn’t it be better to invest that money in the workers who create profit? This is your reminder to eat the bosses’ pizza, then unionize anyway. 🍕 ✊✊ -
